Hello to All the Nejedlo's all over the world. I am Bob Nejedlo, son of William J. Nejedlo whose father was Wencil (Jim) Nejedlo, whose father was John E. Nejedlo, whose father was John Nejedlo and thats as far back as I can go. On August 2, 2003 18 of us Nejedlo and Paider cousins from the Pilsen and Green Bay Wisconsin areas are flying to Prague and will tour the Czech Republic until August 17. We will be in Horovice and Domazlice for several days and will also go to Karlovy Vary, Marianske Lazne, and Cesky Krumlov among other smaller towns. I have retired after teaching counseling at Northern Illinois University for 30 years. Life is great! And I love that Nejedlo spirit. We sure are a gregarious bunch.

It's been awhile since I've dropped in on this site. WOW...Can't leave you Nejedlo's alone for even a minute. Since my last entry, I've moved back to Madison, WI (for work) and have been back to Pilsen. Not much has changed, they still have the same honorary mayor, and a couple of buildings have been knocked down in the name of progress. (Actually, they widened Hwy 29). For those of you in the know, the Kermis has been officially scheduled....If you are attending this year, make sure to get there early, as the booyah went fast!

I have no Nejedlo roots! My roots are German, and I have some info that may be helpful, since I have been searching our ancestors, as well. I do know ONE Nejedlo! As I recall, he was a bit odd, full of good spirits, and needed a little practice on his racquetball game! I also understand the newest Nejedlo is due within 2 weeks!
